Space Weather and Physics Research

iSky conducts experimental research in investigating the unique environment of space. Our focus on research topics in the area of space radiation, cosmic rays, corpuscular radiation, space plasma and studying space weather

Space Weather

Space weather impacts numerous facets of satellites during orbit operations – from interfering with a spacecraft’s propagating signals to causing on-board system failure due to radiation. Forecasting for these events can not only protect and save vital components on a spacecraft, but could potentially save the spacecraft itself. Space weather forecasts are also a necessity for airlines, as the airplanes crew and passengers flying at high altitude and latitude may be exposed to a higher level of radiation.

iSky offer space weather forecasting services for the space and aviation sector through the SKY EYE constellation.
